Jessica Noor is 5’3″ and weighs 120 pounds. Seems pretty average, right? But the shocking thing here is that if you met her a little over 2 years ago, she weighed an unbelievable 225 pounds. This is the story of Jessica Noor’s 105-Pound Weight Loss.
Enough is enough
It was in Sep 2011 when she was 18 and started college that she realized she didn’t want to be overweight for the rest of her life. The turning point in her life came in January 2013 by which time she had lost 30 pounds without actually trying. She was experiencing stomach problems at the time and shifted to a healthier lifestyle as a result. She also started running in May 2013.
Her health issues forced her to keep changing her diet so she could eat comfortably. She gradually cut out all unhealthy food including meat and dairy. She began working out 6 days a week and worked her way up to running 9 miles in a day. She had managed to lose 50 more pounds by January 2015. Her stomach problems were disappearing and she had more energy.
Reaching her weight loss goal of 100 pounds was one of the hardest things she had ever done but it was also the best. She says she is happier now and feels like she can accomplish anything. She feels empowered, positive and is more determined than ever to achieve her goals. She’s gone from size 18 to size 4 and can’t believe how she looked in the past.

Meal planning was an important part of her success. Eating right accounted for more than 90% of her weight loss. She planned every meal in advance. This helped her not get tempted and saved her time and money. All her food is fresh and nothing ever goes to waste. She follows a plant based, vegan diet with organic, whole foods. She hardly eats out anymore either. Exercise is 6 days a week and includes different HIIT (High intensity interval training) each day.
She admitted to struggling with overeating even today. She hasn’t been able to control her binge eating as yet. She is still working on it and whenever she thinks of food, she tries getting her mind off it by going for a walk, reading, etc. She constantly reminds herself of how far she has come and all the hard work she has put in.
